![]() Product Variants Display Bug
I just loaded some options for a pair of pants. There were 50 size variants (ie. 28 x 30, 28 x 32, etc.) and 5 colors options (250 variants). With the full list of variants, I was able to open the product variants page once. Then after I loaded some prices and updated, the page stopped short of displaying the total product variants. Only 2/3 or so were able to be viewed on the "Product Variants" page. tried in Firefox then IE. on a PC. Problem went away when I reduced the color options (less variants). - Mike

I am testing 4.1.2 and my products only have a single "color" variant. None of my products exceed 9 variants. I am NOT experiencing this problem. Do we know the magic number at what # of variants breaks the code? I'll try to break it later today...

![]() In this 4.1.2 version..........On the product display page, is it possible just to upload one one large picture (ex. 640 x 480) for the product image and have it automatically rescale down to.....let's say 150px width.....And then the customer can click on it to see the large picture?
What I'm trying to do is rather using multiple images for "Thumbnail", "Product Image", & "Detailed Image".....I would prefer to upload 1 large image and have it automatically scaled. Thanks -Tuan

You could use the smarty {thumb} plugin from http://www.cerdmann.com/thumb/ It's default behavior scales down the image to your specifications and opens the full sized image in a new window when it is clicked.

I'm thinking that's what he meant, when he was referring to having the image automatically scaled down. |

![]() TelaFirma has a mod that does this (auto sizes images on import or creation) for all of your images on import. It automates all image sizing to your specs and caches the images. I suspect he might have a 4.1.x version in the works and will should be announced in his thread in third-party mods forum once it is complete.
Although his mod is based on some open source, it is very clean and works beautifully for not only auto sizing, but also improves product images overall look and sharpness. Well worth the cost! It makes sense to just plunk down every image you have in high resolutions and let the server create the sizes. So much better than manual or batch sizing in PS or PSP... - Mike

I do have TelaFirma's image mod for the previous 4.0.18 version. And would love to have it implemented again for this new 4.1.x version. But it looks like he has not updated the mod to work with verison 4.1.X platform yet.

![]() Is this a "Best Sellers" bug with the 4.1.2 release?
I have enabled the h"Best Sellers" module in the "Admin" pannel and configured it to show a list of 10 items. However, it will only show 1 item in the "Best Sellers" box regardless of how man items I configured it in the "Admin" pannel. I have gone through and submitted several test orders for many different items. But as you can see, only 1 item is listed under "Best Sellers". My website is at http://www.MVPAutoParts.com Thanks -Tuan

![]() Looks like a bug in "Manufacturer details page". OrderBy doesn't change when you change and save. Reverts to whatever multiple of 10 a previous manufacturer was ordered.
Also, when you make changes to them, they automatically are assigned order numbers regardless of whether they were all set to "0" which is what you need to do to order them alphabetically... - Mike
