Really love this mod and looking to implement it next year for a wholesale store we are building. I had a few questions I was hoping you could look into

1) Is it possible to have slightly bigger images for the thumbnails and also a bigger detailed image in the lightbox that pops-up?

2) Will you be adding any kind of sort features such as sort by newest arrivals, best sellers, price, a-z, etc

3) Fpr wholesale prices can you display the RRP and the w/price so customers can see the mark up on the products?

Looks like a great mod and look forward to see what other features you will be adding

In response to tahirfayyaz's post, QO 1.3 will have sortable columns - image size is CSS-driven so you can easily change it (PM me if you need more info), and the extra wholesale info only requires a simple customisation of the mod (again, if you're interested, PM me)

Is anyone having success getting support from ElegantXMods for this product? I've been impressed with the design and functionality of QuickOrder - but it appears to have a few bugs when used with X_CART 4.2.3.

I provided a default 4.2.3 installation with no customizations + QuickOrder to them to demonstrate the bugs. The feature where products with options opens up in a light box so that the customer can select options is not working. This is bad because items can be added to the cart without presenting the available options to customers - and it is causing mix ups in the orders. I reported this on Nov 16. The last I heard from them was on Dec 6, when they thought they had isolated the problem. I've offered to reinstall another clean 4.2.3 with QuickOrder and give them complete access - but no response from them. They have also not responded to subsequent requests about that status - just appear to be ignoring emails now. They also ignored a PM on this forum.

I also reported an issue with 4.2.3 which appears to be an IE stacking problem where the quickorder popups are appearing under some of the divs in the header instead of layered above everything. There is no acknowledgment from ElegantXMods to this potential bug.

If anyone has a 4.2.3 X-CART installation with QuickOrder where the options popup box is working properly, and you would not mind sending me a link - I'd appreciate it. Then I can compare mine to a working installation.

I know that with the runup to the holiday period a few customers haven't had the best customer support experience (Gabriel included). I'm doing my best to have all support requests resolved by the end of the year.

Also to clarify about the compatibilty of QuickOrder with X-Cart versions 4.2.3 and above (including 4.3) - I've been trying to get QO to be broadly compatible from 4.0 to 4.3 - which was working up to 4.2.2, but some X-Cart system changes have put paid to that idea. What I will be doing from now on is including three packages in the downloadable ZIP file: one for 4.0, one for 4.1 to 4.2.2 and one for 4.2.3 - 4.3. This, I feel, will be the best way to make sure everyone gets QO running first time, every time. This will (hopefully) be completed by Dec 31, and if not it will be released several days afterwards.

Once again, I'd like to apologise for the delays in getting customer support out to those customers affected - I'm working through the support backlog now and if you can bear with me for just a few more days, your QuickOrder installations will be fully functioning.

Thanks, John. While the time to resolve is an issue, I am mostly concerned about the lack of response. I've experienced 2 other X-Cart mod vendors who have abandoned support for their products - so a lack of response is not a good sign.

Glad to know you are still working on the issues. I don't regret the purchase of this mod - it is really slick. And, it is not encoded, so if it comes down to it, I can crack it open and try to resolve the issues myself. But, hopefully, it will not come to that.

John has worked through the issues I was having with the QuickOrder mod on XCART 4.2.3. I sympathize with him and other vendors having to keep up with the various XCART releases and I do appreciate the effort. QuickOrder is a really nice mod - well worth the price.
