If everybody would just use the <ul> tags properly then there is not an issue.

If you have a span do NOT put the ul or a p or a div or a table inside it.

The whole point though is that with the current templates, you can't use a <ul> tag in your product description without it being contained in a <span></span>. The current X-Cart templates wrap the the entire product description within <span></span> tags.

Complete newbie at this. In process of configuring new site. I couldn't get product categories to even display. Notice upgrade to version 4.1.7. Followed procedure to FTP it to site.

No upgrade is showing under Patch/Upgrade center.

Update: Some fool didn't notice the drop down box that listed specific updates. I had downloaded the 4.1.0 > 4.1.7. when of course I should have used the 4.1.6 > 4.1.7. Then it showed up.

I have had some failures in the patch process.

home.php could not patch
skin1/customer/home.tpl could not patch
skin1/customer/home_printable.tpl could not patch
skin1/modules/Fast_Lane_Checkout/home.tpl could not patch
skin1/news.tpl could not patch
skin1/skin1_c.css could not patch

If the latest templates are also updated during update, would re-applying the curent template again fix this issue for me?

I have been able to upgrade from 4.1.3 to 4.1.7. My store is still showing the default design. How do I switch to the new skin that is included in 4.1.7?

my x-cart version is 4.1.6. I did the fresh install and the navigation in products page does not work properly. i have 16 products for the category "DVDs and CDs". i have set 9 products per page in admin under general settings with 3 per row option. it displays 9 products per page correctly. When i click the link of "Page 2", it doesn't work. when i tried this with 4.1.3, it works. any inputs? i have checked in the change log of 4.1.7 and noting i found.

Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks
