Thanks for the support. I am sorry that I got upset with Mary and I apologize to you, Mary (if you read this). I do work very hard at this and want to do a great job.

Unfortunately, I'm not perfect. In the case of Mary's email, I saw it, got distracted, and forgot about it. Not much I could do at that point - it had already been marked read by my system and I thought I had answered it.

I probably over-reacted to her post here and I'm sorry about that. However, it really hurts when the very few times I make a mistake they are posted for all to see and the many, many times my software and response times are great, there is little to show for it.

I want to make a great product. I want my customers to be happy and I work hard to debug any issues users have (whether related to my code or to the user's configuration).

If you are still interested, Mary, I would be happy to work with you. It's hard to develop this kind of business. Until it's much, much larger, I have to do everything myself and I do my best. I'll never be perfect. I'm sure I'll miss emails again - even just to my junk mail filter if I don't mess up the process myself.

However, it's not intentional and I want people to enjoy my product and get a great benefit from it.

A simple 'Sorry I missed it' in the beginning would have gotten a retraction from me on the forum. Over-reacting and chastising me for posting my experience just escalated things.

I too run my own business, so I understand missing things. I understand being overwhelmed, but in the end it was still a mistake on your part & I should not have been chastised for pointing it out. Your lack of response had me spending days looking for a solution that you had.

I told you that this forum is here to help us and for us to post our experiences, problems and solutions to help those that come here needing help. If we do not get help from a 3rd party, we post it here. If we get good service from them we also post that here. I told you that if what you said was true then a customer would post their good experience here & they did.

I had posted the contents of all our messages here, until I read your post above with the apology that was a little late, but at least seemed heartfelt. I removed those messages. An apology goes a LOT further and prevents a lot of headaches. I don't want to argue and will be happy to put this behind us.

Let me know if you want to try my code out. The Endicia Integrator hasn't been tested on 4.1.x systems yet, so if you need it on that version I'll give you a pre-release version.

I don't need the 4.1. I have done so many mods that I prefer not to upgrade any further. Besides that everything is stable & I have found and fixed most quirks and problems that existed. I like staying with the tried and true.

I have a question. On a mac will it transfer over the product description, email and phone number to my Endicia label window? Right now I copy and paste these things into Endicia.

It copies address, email, phone, shipping weight, shipping rate (Priority Mail, ParcelPost, etc) over to Endicia. It also copies the order id to the "reference number", but does not currently copy any actual product information (could be added though if needed).

Additionally, it can be run in batch mode where you prepare your orders and then print all of the labels at once. After the labels print, Endicia creates an XML file that you can upload to the Endicia Integrator software (at your X-Cart installation). There is a special page for uploading Endicia result files. The Endicia Integrator software will then set all orders that were successfully posted to "complete", send the "order complete" email, and print a results screen listing any orders that could not be correctly posted (shipping label not printed due to address verification failure, etc) as well as a record of the successful shipping transactions.

Those are pretty much the extent of the features of my Endicia Integrator software. It is especially helpful for workflows where you box up a number of orders and then print all of the labels at once. My old webstore was like this. We packaged up about 20-30 orders, wrote the order number on top, and then printed all of the postage at once. This was a very speedy solution for us.

I'm working on international shipping for my Automator software first. It is pretty near completion. I was hoping for last weekend to debut it. However, it won't be until about 10/25 since I'm out of town right now and don't have much development time while on the road.

Once I complete it for Automator, it should be easy to port those functions into the Endicia Integrator code. So, I would expect to have the Endicia Integrator version within a week after that.

I just purchased your USPS automator, will I still get the upgraded software?...and do you have the installation instructions? I looked around the site and couldnt find it or didnt look hard enough.

That will be useful. I only do a few international shipments a week, but I expect that to pick up a lot during the holiday season.
