The eBay module requires your store to be unlocked to work. The eBay integration requires the domain to be publicly accessible in order for direct communication with eBay web services and the web store. Pay attention to private firewalls and web protected folders, etc.

A resolution if needed, just add your secure SHOP KEY to your cron.

Also, if you feel your crons are setup correctly via CPANEL or other Webmaster portal, review your .htaccess files for conflicts with your redirects and the cron files.

I wish this was the only problem I had as it would be solved. But the other three items I have sent you still haven't been addressed. The software now syncs with the few that it initially found upon setup but it doesn't update "products on ebay" at all, and it crashes on this page as well. Also it seems to have real problem with the shipping portion of new product creation or updates of existing products. As such it blocks many changes and creation of products.

So far it has taken comments on this site to get any action out of Kosmos. Not sure why I even put things on their ticket system.

Please see post from: Acquamarina

"The staff at Kosmos is great, both pre-sales and installation tech support. Customers without their monthly maintenance agreement have to wait a bit longer for responses but it is not bad at all. When you have their attention, you have their full attention. So if you do not subscribe to site maintenance, just be patient - it will be worth it!"

We understand your concerns and have identified that there are users that are impatient and are not very technical in regards to troubleshooting eBay errors and integration problems themselves. We're discussing these additional support packages with X-cart now.

Acquamarina paid for a $300 support plan, and as you can see from her earlier post on page 2, she loves the software and appreciates her pre-paid setup and support.

Installation (or Free Trials) do not cover troubleshooting eBay errors, integration problems and eBay setup so please read all the documentation provided and follow up with eBay errors at eBay's community directly, if you choose not to purchase a support plan.

So it's $300 plus a monthly fee. Got it. I have paid $100 plus the monthly fee. So if I give you another $200 you will fix my problems?!?

Seriously I can't believe I am even typing this on a forum.

The eBay Integration so far doesn't work for me, nothing to do with eBay as far as I am aware not sure what contacting them would do for me.

I will be happy to sing Kosmos praises, if it every works but....

For those of you wondering this is the response I just got from Kosmos after I have had a ticket with problems for over a week already:

"We have customers who have paid for troubleshooting and support and are actively responding to their requests now. Your request has been added to the work queue, and we estimate anywhere from 5 -10 business days for a response."

I learned a long time ago that,

"You can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar"

The Vinegar approach, will get you 10 days for sure. Good luck to you!

Correct, variants are supported. If an items sells, the change in stock is reflected in X-Cart. The module automatically maintains accurate inventory levels between eBay and your X-Cart store.
