These are live shops built with LiteCommerce 3 that is very close to X-Cart Next from the programmer's point of view. X-Cart Next has more features, and LC3 can be considered as "lite" Open Source version of XCN.

Yes, we would be happy if you create new shops with X-Cart Next. There are LC3 sites working successfully already, so we believe X-Cart Next (that is based on the new 1.1.0 version of the platform) is ready for production use (after the beta testing, of course )

I don't see the ability to add variants, how are variants being dealt with in X-Cart Next?
