Might be a jQuery versioning thing.. change this line:

$('#opc_shipping_payment').off('click');

to

$("#opc_shipping_payment").unbind("click");

Yup - I'm using a later version of jQuery, which introduced the off method. I'll change the original post to use unbind() as that will work with earlier versions of jQuery

Yeah, that change did it. Excellent mod! I felt the same way about the "Apply" button. Some people were looking all over how to checkout and didnt realize they had to apply their personal and address information.

This is an excellent workaround. I have no idea how many customers get fed up with the 'apply' process, but we still receive calls about it from time to time. Many thanks Mish!

Just one question, perhaps for (CFL) Steve. I use your popup messages mod so most messages appear in a nice neat box with icons. It would be great if this one did too, either as a warning or error. Would it be possible to call that instead of the standard alert popup?
