Hiya guys, ive decided to have a go at designing a new template for my xcart site and ive run into a little problem, i have read the editing guide from here but must be doing something wrong.

I have managed to do a lot of my design by myself editing the tpl files etc, placed my background but i intend on having a shaped graphic at the bottom and i cannot for the life of me figure out where im supposed to put the code.

I have used the text "FOOTER" to show show what i mean.

All i require is to be able to pout the text from inside the white area (blue arrow) to outside the white area (red arrow)

I have tried putting it in skin1/bottom.tpl at the end with no luck and i have also tried it in rectangle_bottom.tpl & powered by but i cannot seem to get it outside the box.

Its probably really simple but i just need pointing in the right direction of the file im supposed to edit please

ive asked on here before and got hardly any responses, surely adding text outside the white box is possible ???????

I'm sorry liamb, but we do not allow double posting in this forum. I have merged your two posts on this topic.

The easiest way to achieve what you are after is to simply add a new <tr> with the image inside it just inside the container just above the </body> tag. In your case, it looks like that would be rectangle_bottom.tpl. Simply add a new row <tr><td>image code here</td></tr>

There are errors in the HTML code of your page.
No close tag <table>, open tags <tr> without next <td> and ....
