I am sorry that you are having a bad experience here in the forum. If you would like to file a complaint with X-Cart, you can either open a ticket in your help desk area, or contact one of the X-Cart forum administrators, rrf or verbic.
Let me try to explain myself, so that there are no misunderstandings. I answer hundreds of posts here each week, so many of my responses are quick and to the point. While I would love to write page long, chatty respones to everyone, there just isn't enough time in the day, paritcularly since my time here is voluntary. I try to address as many questions as I can while still maintaining the flow of the forum by making sure that people follow the forum rules and do a little research before posting. You have to understand that my primary job here is to moderate, not answer questions (although I do that quite a bit as well) or look up page numbers in the manual for someone. There are some things that frustrate me and the other moderators to no end, particularly since they are addressed so clearly in the forum rules: - Posts with no version in the signature - Double posting - Asking questions that are addressed many times in other threads - Asking questions that are clearly addressed in the manual - Posting in the wrong forum The rules are there to help make the forum a better place for everyone, not so that we can come off as god-like moderators. We all benefit from this place, and keeping it functional is why I am so hard on people who don't follow the rules, and pretty much won't answer a question unless a version is specified. Each version of X-Cart is different, and it is a waste of time to answer a question when we don't know what version it is for. The moderstors shouldn't have to ask people to follow them or justify them. The other things people don't understand is that this forum is not run by X-Cart, but by the users. Answers here are not guaranteed, they happen if someone wants to volunteer their time to answer a post. Posting in multiple threads won't help you get your question answered any sooner. The only way to get a guaranteed answer is to open a ticket with X-Cart via your help desk. The forum search is not great, but it works. The manual is not great, but it does have some valuable information. There are numerous FAQ posts here and in the manual that address some of the common questions. X-Cart has a steep learning curve, and it can be fustrating when first starting out. All that we ask is that you be respectful of the rules, contribute when you can, and be sure to search thoroughly (using AND) before posting. I apologize if my tone seems rude to you, I simply asked you to follow the forum rules, as that is my job. It was just a simple request, I was not harassing you, or withholding information from you. Again, it is not my job to provide answers to each and every post here. Please contact X-Cart directly if you have any questions or concerns.

Going to cover it again
I understand totally how you operate as I am a moderator of quite a few importamant forums.
www.wisconsinconcealedcarryreform.com www.concealedcarrywi.com Plus Yahoo I also know how Moderator's act like God. I definatly think this could have been handled better, at least by giving the answer or directing us to the answer since I am sure you know how to search this forum better than we do. I am hoping to have a better experience this next few days.
