Ok, I found out my problem was that there was no space in my double quotes in the first if statement. So now I get the buy now button. However, the buy now button links to the catalog homepage instead of the URL in the extra field.

What I did was create an extra field called param08 in the extrafield, and then put the URL for the products that I want to link to an external site. I tried changing the filed name to just 08 but it still is not linking. I think I'm still missing something here. Thanks,
