Well, since I needed this mod to function properly I had my register.php fixed by Qualiteam for some support points. I'll share the code here so if you are on 4.1.10 you need this change of code in register.php:

Excellent mod. Does anyone know how to make the Login secure? I followed all the steps but the login link on the help pages goes to http.

It also seems there is no log-out link with this new option.

I've tried this mod and two others to get a separate login page that has the login and password protect registration. Suggestions are welcomed.

I need to create a static login page to accomplish a password protect portion of my custom login mod. For this reason I can still use this custom mod, though can someone instruct me to what I need to add to the authbox_mod.tpl to redirect to home.php? I need to do this until the new static page is complete.

Has anyone got this working for version 4.2.1

I am surprised there isn't a purchasable mod for this function.

I had this custom coded on 4.1.9 cart, but unable to replicate the changes myself.

Is there anyone who would be able to do this for a fee on a 4.2 installation. (need it done quickly!)

I tried to get it working on a 4.2 install as well and couldn't. I think there's a php change necessary to allow the help.php?section=Login" in the GET string to work; may be a security addon that was done in 4.2?
