If you havnt noticed XCart 3.3.3 is now in your file areas along with upgrade kits and changelog

Interesting points in the change log are that there are a lot of bug fixes that will solve some of the frequently posted items on the forum such as:

gift certs
paypal
worldpay
discount values
no cookie warnings
search problems

worth looking at it to see whether it fits the bill for you.

I'm running 3.3.3 on a live site right now and so far so good, no problems that we have noticed yet.

There seems to be some problems with order notifications from paypal and credit cards. Checks/Phone order works fine. Doesn't seem to change the order notifications from "I" so if you don't have the inital orders being sent to you and your customer they don't recieve one.

I am developing 3.3.2 version right now. I see the changes for the latest involves PayPal fix. Can you tell me what it is fixing. Mine seems to be working okay.

Also I see a note on a fix for gift cert, search problems, and no cookies. Can you tell me what these problems have been and if they are a problem in the 3.3.2 version?

So is this an easy patch for a sightly modified site? Or do I have to pay x-cart folks again to do it for me?

In theory they should all be as hard or as easy as each other. The more a cart is modified the more problems you may run into but then those parts can be done manualy if need be.

There is still no word from xcart team regarding a set of simple instuctions for people wanting to use the upgrade kits...

I apologize in advance if this is a self-explanatory question.

With version 3.3.3, are product images now being saved in the {ImageDIR} or are they still being held in the database? Please advise, I want to know if I should use the previous fix that is out there for storing images outside of the database.

Dealsondeals, Products are still stored in the database, in version 3.3.3.

As for upgrading I went from 3.3.2 with the upgrade patch, took me about 30 mins. Not too bad.
