I have created an addtitional menu column on my home page, which I modelled on "help.tpl", and called "help2.tpl". I also created a separate help2 directory. The issue I am having is that none of the links (ie. to the wholesale discounts page) will work. I get a HTTP 404 - File not found error.

I've double-checked that the names of the files are exactly the same to rule out case-sensitive issues, and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
All the template pages I want to link to are located in the help2 directory.

Here's an example from help2.tpl....have I got something wrong with the code?

{$lng.lbl_wholesale_discounts}

That is because you are calling help2.php, which doesn't exist unless you created a new .php file. Remember, .php files are different than .tpl files.

This is probably a silly question, but where and how do I create php files?

You shouldn't need to if you are just creating new menus. Just create the the templates like you have and call them from home.tpl. Then put the links you want in the new menus. Exactly what page are you trying to create a link to? Is the Wholesale Discounts page a static page you have created?

I was trying to link to templates I'd created, but linking to the Static pages was much much easier. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
