How to set number of digits for zipcode and phone number?

Default How to set number of digits for zipcode and phone number?

Hi,

Is there a way to set the number of digits for phone number to 10 digits? This is a new required field that we added in Cart and Checkout, but we have customers putting in phone number that is missing a digit too often.

Similarly, is there a way to set the post code (zipcode) to 4 digits. At the moment, the checkout form shows 5 digits for postcode.

Also, where can I change the word "Invoice #xxxx" to "Tax invoice #xxxx"?

That will be under Store Setup >> Translations.


Click on English



/admin.php?target=labels&code=en


and search for Invoice


Then just edit Invoice X

Hi Paul,

Tried it but does not seem to work. I changed from "Invoice" to "Tax invoice"; and "Invoice #{{orderId}}, {{time}}" to "Tax invoice #{{orderId}}, {{time}}". However, no success.

Any further thoughts?

Could be a different variable - but they sound like the right ones.
Use the template editor to double check maybe.


Also, you could try rebuilding the shop, or clearing cache to make sure that the change has taken.
