Anyone built a proper API for xcart 4
Has anyone ever built a proper API for order, product management in xcart 4?
I know cart2cart built a tool that cost quite a bit and would always be out of date when new versions of xcart 4 got released. At present I manage it all through crons and creating import csv files automatically from third party databases. But would love to use an API to add, update and disable products to start with. With order management this would be simple enough, but product options and variants are a total nightmare when it comes to database architecture. |

No not that I know of. And unless you build it yourself or ask someone else I don't see this happening.

Re: Anyone built a proper API for xcart 4
We tend to do this on a case-by-case basis and depending on what someone is connecting to.
We do however, have a product importer/updater product that does a great job of importing and updating products based upon a CSV or XML feed that your suppliers provide. It's a framework though and sometimes needs customization depending on how simple or complex the data feed coming from the supplier is (or your own csv). Carrie
