Hello Michael,
Could you, please, let me know what version of Safari you are using so our website team could test it. As a work around I would recommend you to try a different browser or just open blog.x-cart.com and then go to the latest post there. As its unlikely that as a novice I can do the alternate work around do I just wait till you release 5.2.3?

It is in fact already out for several hours.
So if you have not started the upgrade yet (and as far as I can see, you have not) you may just proceed as usual. Besides it might not even affect you if your hosting is running MySQL v.5.5 or below. Quote:

Greetings,
Just for the record, has anyone download and installed a fresh clean copy of 5.2.3. I have and although it works, I can not for the life of me get a skin to show, its all in text and only text. This also happen to my live store as well, which is now closed thanks to a faulty upgrade. Did anyone test this upgrade before going live with it. I am talking about the current release available for trial as well as purchase. If I was just looking at X-cart for the first time, download the trial copy and installed it. The encountered this problem. I would look for another cart. Simple as that. Could be me, I don't know. Just a thought. What do you think? Meanwhile I will just wait till 5.2.4 is released, hope it fixes this and allows me to try and restart my store with the purchased banner module and the #28 iGoods skin. Would be nice to be able to use it soon since I have paid for it and the 1 year update clock is running, but I guess we are expected to wait a few months out of the year for debugging? Another day gone by, another tick off my 365 upgradeable modules. I hope QT will add back lost days to my maintenance/upgrade clock. Still no word or fix for a new, clean copy of a v5.2.3 installed. Oh its installed, just no skin, nothing but text lists. Anyone else get this when installing a new clean, fresh just downloaded x-cart v5.2.3? Anyone? Is anyone even using X-cart anymore? Ok, I just took out a ticket as well… I would try to fix this but have no clue..I wonder if it is a config file setting?
