![]() Hi everyone and Happy Saint Patrick's Day to those who celebrate!
I'm here to inform that 5.0.12 has become available. This version is aimed at "polishing" our new-generation platform: implementing minor design improvements, enhancements to existing features, bug fixes. The only new module is Robokassa, it's a payment module for the countries of CIS and Russia. Also, an existing module - Canada Post - has been rewritten and packed with the entire set of features. A tiny article in X-Cart blog: http://blog.x-cart.com/x-cart-5012-released.html The changelog is here: http://kb.x-cart.com/display/XDD/Changelog

Hi Steve. We had to use it because of necessity to support Drupal Connector, as Drupal could not work with latest jQuery version. Starting from X-Car 5.1.0, jQuery v1.11.0 will be in use.

![]() I have 5.0.12 installed.
I want to integrate Canada Post as one of my shippers. I have a Canada Post account already. The Canada Post wizard requires me to authorize X-Cart to use my credit card for Canada Post... WHY? I did not need to do this for other carts???

Hi Peter, You're right stating that it's Canada Post wizard, which requires the card. Actually, the X-Cart integration does not somehow define the behavior of the wizard - it's predefined on Canada Post side. Previously, X-Cart 5 had a very basic integration with Canada Post, all it could do is to return rates.Maybe the other shopping carts you're referring to have this simple integration too. But the current X-Cart 5 integration is much more powerful and packed with features. Probably that's the reason why they request more details from the merchant to provide. And while I'm writing kinda guessing here, I have already resent your question to our Canada Post point of contact, let's expect an official reply from them.

![]() Hi again,
This is what I have just received from Canada Post team: "When a merchant register to Canada Post they can be an existing customer or a new customer of Canada Post. If they are a new customer they do not have billing privilege therefore during the registration “wizard” they will only have CreditCard for the method of payment." If you wish to get better explanation, I could PM the contact information of Fabien from Canada Post. Just let me know.
