We would like to install X-Cart Mobile but wondered if there were likely to be problems/conflict with the BCSE Rewards Mod that we aleady have installed? Does anyone have both Mods installed?

Is there any consensus on whether the file mobile.php should be disallowed in the robots.txt file? Not sure on this one. The reason I ask is because I understand Google has been placing a somewhat high emphasis on sites that have a mobile option, but on the other hand, it might be duplicate content. Hmmmm

Kevin, the "X-Cart Mobile" module is built in such a way that it doesn't require additional pages or subdomains for a site.

It starts working when it detects the necessary mobile browser's "user agent". In other cases the site shows a common desktop version.

It is known fact that Google bot has its own "user agent", so the Mobile module simply not starting when bot parses the site. In this case the bot sees common desktop site-pages.

That is why this module doesn't affect the SEO and our clients are not get any penalties from Google or any other search engines.

I have reboot template for my 4.6.1 platinum store as my skin.If I want to use Mobile Skin for Classic for android and iphone then will it work simultaneously?

Main skin reboot for desktop and other device and Mobile Skin for Classic for mobile device only?

Is it responsive?

Please let me know as I am ready to purchase.

We used this combination since the release of Reboot. It works fine.

Er we still use mobile mod but but got rid of Reboot.

Hi All,

Just installed X-Cart mobile module on XC v4.6. Everything seems to work fine except when check out with credit card... got message saying order processed, after that the page loads the Paypal credit card number input box for less than a second then blank page. It just stuck at payment_cc.php. However, it works fine on desktop version. Anyone experienced the same thing and how to fix it? Try to search the forum but no luck.

Just installed on 4.5 and it is using jquery mobile 1.2. There are bug fixes present that were fixed in the current jquery mobile 1.4.1. Are there plans to update the x-cart template?
