Hi Everyone,

We have been informed about some scammers trying to get your personal details by saying they are from X-Cart.

Namely, someone is sending messages like this one:

Please pay attention that we do not have domain name x-cart-noreply.com

Also, there is no such domain at all.

Someone is trying to get you to click the link and get to a page that looks like HelpDesk login page. It may contain malicious code as well.

Please be aware of this threat!

Can you confirm if QT sends out similar email at all or not and if yes in what situations?

The scammers' message mimics message our HelpDesk system sends after 5 unsuccessful login attempts.

Back in 2010 we added a free X-Payments license to your HelpDesk account at https://secure.qtmsoft.com

We would like to inform you that we are annulling unused free X-Payments licenses on March 1st 2013.

To avoid annulment of your X-Payments license please follow these steps before March 1st 2013:
1. Install X-Payments on your server. You can skip this step if you've already installed X-Payments.
2. Register your X-Payments installation in "My licenses" section of your HelpDesk account by entering its URL for your X-Payments license (see below).



Thus you will indicate us that you do use your free X-Payments license and we won't annul it on March 1st 2013.
