I have a slight request.

I want to remove the line we have below our TOTAL amount for the checkout.

It shows:

Subtotal (then the value)
Shipping cost: (value of shipping cost)
TOTAL: (value of those added together)

What its then showing up and I cant seem to remove for any luck no money, is:

Including:
UK_15: (or tax name used in tax system)

and then next to the colon sign it shows the value.

How do I remove that whole line below the TOTAL?

Have you used webmaster mode to determine the template involved, and then comment out the language variables ?

I have done that now actually removed the whole thing, as from a designers prospective leaving in commented out code looks horrible, frankly looks shoddy to me haha.

Jeremy,

Nobody will see the code in templates... and if you ever try to upgrade, the comments will mkae things clear. Nobody will think less of you for well commented code.

Just find that X Cart is way overblown its code when it comes to actually doing things, not so much like this as its just removing what goes in.

But the actual adding of things I find most frustrating with X Cart, but using the labels it assigns to variables I find webmaster mode most convenient to work out where things are to customising the store the way we want it to work.

Its just a matter of playing around with it I find works best, but when it comes to the backend code I find that together with our IT technician he even thinks its very confusing, not exactly the best code in the world.

Like the search functions the most annoying thing, says its supposed to search in categories but in actual fact it doesnt, when you look at the php scripts that work the search, it indicates nothing to the categories in the X Cart database category table(s), we do have a problem with this with our other system we use aswell, but we manage to get around this by putting in keywords we think a user would want, as what we go for as a business is mostly prior to the customer, very annoying I know, its getting there though, ideally not the best way to go about it, but it works in effect.
