Heres a simple mod that changes a few things in the copyright.tpl file. This is for the V3.4.x series

{* $Id: copyright.tpl,v 1.8 2003/04/24 11:19:38 Shan Exp $ *}
<font size=1>Copyright {$config.Company.start_year} - {$smarty.now|date_format:"%Y"} <FONT class=Bottom>{$config.Company.company_name}</FONT></font>

Takes copyright start from store start date set in admin
Takes copyright current date from current date

Makes the link go back to the correct location rather then the url without the xcart folder as it did before.

Just swap this one for your original copyright.tpl

Nice simple mod that everyone will be able to use - dont know why xcart dont adopt it as standard.

Yeh, there are plenty of things like that that never make it to the releases. I mentioned plenty of stuff like this during the beta test, some made it through.
