So that means menu_mod.tpl is not where it needs to be. You need to make sure you name the files exactly what you call them as, and put them in the right place.

Default Re: My Account Login

I just copied the files exactly as they are in the post on page 1

At the bottom of 3 tpl files they all state menu_mod.tpl

I changed 2 (auth_mod.tpl & authbox_mod.tpl) of them and its now got no error, but also nothing else

If i change the bottom line in menu_profile_mod.tpl where it mentions menu_mod.tpl to menu_profile_mod.tpl itself it crashs

for Jayk

-----------------------

The account login link from the speed bar, etc. works great.

Except when you go to check out.

I get:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/protecht/public_html/include/register.php on line 1025

Great mod guys. Keep up the good work.
I'm still new to XC.
When you click on the "LOGOUT" button (login.tpl) nothing happens but get an error in the IE and FF "Object doesn't support this property or method".
It refers to the line and command of: onclick="javascript: document.loginform.submit();"
I do have javascript enabled.
Where do I start looking ?
Thank you.

Default Re: My Account Login

Been reading through this thread but can't seem to find something like this.
  • Have a 'My Account' and 'Login' button in header of shop.
  • Both buttons lead to 'username-password' or 'new-registration' page
  • Once user has 'logged in', 'Login' button changes to 'Log out' button and 'My Account' button leads to customers account page.
  • So when customer clicks on 'log out', customer is logged out' and button changes back to 'login'
Can anyone help with this functionality?

This can be done with {if} / {else} statements ...

I've done this with a few xc sites

e.g. http://www.plasticweldingequipment.co.uk

When the customer log's in, the login button changes to 'Logout' along with this additional buttons are shown e.g: Order History.
