Are there any mods/add-ons which would enable a customer to send products to multiple recipients, with a shipping charge for each, in one transaction?

This one has been asked for before, and I think the only solution I have heard of was to set each address as a product option, which certainly isn't ideal

Yea, it is definitely something that would be nice as a standard feature, as would gift wrap and gift card options at checkout.

We use product options for cards & gift wrapping. But again it's not ideal.
