It's advisable to wait until the full 4.1.1 production release comes out. Even then it should be thoroughly tested before putting into production.

Australia Post Interface
I see with the Australia Post interface it appears the product dimensions can only be entered once (or am I missing something) shouldn't there be a set of dimensions for each product, that allows for differing dimensions and a calculation of the overall dimensions for multiple products. Each product has weight (which I am presuming is totalled) so why not length, Width and Height and a tick box for standard dimensions?
Cheers

4.1.0 RC4 deleting master blocks access to product pages
Deleting the default master account from a fresh install of 4.1.0 RC4 blocks access to all the product pages thereafter. Here's the steps to reproduce the problem.
1. Fresh install - configured with Australian default settings 2. Login to /admin as master 3. Change master password, log out, log back in to /admin again. 4. Add a new administrator profile called Administrator 5. Log out of /admin and login as the new user administrator. 6. Delete the original master user 7. Now browsing the store as either an anonymous or logged in user, it is not possible to view any products. You can browse categories but once you get to the category containing the products the page says "There are no available products under this category". I assume this is not supposed to happen. cheers.

Below is a list of features that were supposed by shan and were satisfied:

Such an option has already been implemented: Quote:

The option in the 'Static pages' section duplicates the option in the General settings for easier access. Quote:
When Perl is needed, a check up is performed to find out whether it exists. If the path to Perl is defined in the General settings, X-Cart uses this very path. If the option field is left empty, or if Perl cannot be found in the specified path, X-Cart tries to find Perl independently. Quote:

It is a label in 4.1 (lbl_site_name) Quote:
This is from xcart_tables.sql: Quote:

It would be so very helpful if you provided us with a professional-looking invoice so we can clean up ours Quote:

DONE The rest of your suggestions were not included into the 4.1.0, but we will consider them in our development plan in future. Thank you.

Re: Australia Post Interface
Quote:
Unfortunately, the individual product length, width and heigh do not considered during the real time shipping rates calculation in 4.1 and all previous X-Cart releases. But we are going to include this functionality in future major release.

Australia Post
Why include the functionality if it only partially works?

4.1.0 RC4 Company name in options not reflected in store
To duplicate this bug in 4.1.0 RC4 default install:
In Admin / General Settings / Company options, change the Company Name field, then click Save. Note that new name is not reflected in the navigation breadcrumbs, but does appear in the customer invoice header.
