Hi

I'm testing the r3C version.

I've found if "Use HTTPS for users' login and registration:" is checked in Admin - General Settings>Security Options, and if I click on the Checkout link in the mini cart when there are no items in the shopping basket, I get this error message;

"Your browser doesn't accept cookies. Cookies are required to use this site. Please enable cookies and press the continue button "

I'm using php 4.3.2 on the testing server with the ini variables set as suggested.

Not sure if this is just my setup or a bug.

Sent out an HTML mailer from the newsletter section. When the email shows up, all the HTML tags are visible to the reader. Everything looks fine in the WYSIWYG editor and in dreamweaver. Soon as it hits an email box, it looks like HTML code, no pictures, ect. Just code.

Anyone?

One more thing. When user enters his/her email address on the front page to subscribe the newsletter and hits go/submit, it sends the user to a http 404 error page instead of confirming the addition of his or her email address. Furthermore, the email address does not go into the newsletter subscription list.

This is for 4.1 RC3 (The post right above this as well)

Anyone?

Default Re: X-Cart 4.1.0 rc3 released - WYSIWYG Editor bug on Mac

Hi there,

Installed a copy of RC3 this morning, very keen to test out the HTML editor and found much to my dismay that it only works on Windows and not the Mac. When using Firefox or Mozilla on the Mac, the following javascript error is generated whenever you load a page with the editor on it:

Error: InnovaEditor is not defined
Source File: http://www.x-cart.com/demo_preview/admin/category_modify.php?cat=3
Line: 753

I checked the Innova website and the editor is supposed to work on a Mac so it would be great if this bug could be fixed.

Regards

Nathan

We have not been able to find this bug in a fresh installation of 4.1.0 RC3 Could you please provide us with step-by-step instructions on how we can reproduce the problem?
You could also check this on the demo: http://www.x-cart.com/demo_preview/

I just type an email in and hit subscribe. Could this be occurring because of the RC3 over RC2 patch and not a fresh install?

Any idea why the HTML mailer displays as code once it hits a user's mailbox? Could this be becuase of the patch as well?

When setting up MYSQL on a new server, specifically for the new XCart 4.1, which database role should I pick? "Multifunctional Database", "Transactional Database" or "Non-Transactional Database"?

I would like to know which one would be the optimal setup for X-Cart 4.1?

Thanks

What do you want to do with the site?

Transaction does just that. Makes sales. So, NON does what? No Sales so therefore multifunctional does what? BOTH

Again, what do YOU do?
