The closest thing to what I'm looking for is this ....

but that only tells about a handful of template files. What about the other ones? Is there any documentation that explains what each template file does? I can try to guess at some of them by their name, but I'd rather work from a reference file.

Or, is there a tree of template includes that explains how the different template files are setup in the default template? Without documentation, it gets very confusing.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Webmaster mode will help you: http://www.x-cart.com/xcart_manual/online/webmaster_mode.htm

While in webmaster mode (if you are using internet explorer) any template you put you mouse over will display it's path in the status bar.
Great way to know what does what.

Ahhh....

I was wondering why Webmaster Mode didn't seem to do anything.
That must be because I use a better browser than Internet Explorer.

Damn. I hate it when people design things for only one browser.

I just realized that it uses a pop-up and I have pop-ups disabled.
