noticing a lot of newsletters hitting the spam folders...Any idea how to resolve this?

Use a mail service and make sure your newsletters pass spam detection criteria.

We stopped using MMP for newsletters years ago and started using MailChimp. We still use MMP for many useful reports and list management, but for actually sending, it's best to use a service that ONLY sends email 24/7, and their business depends on successfully delivering every message.

Ya I was thinking of making a switch to. How do you import your users into MC?

The hard way - manual export.

It's imperfect. but MailChimp does great list management/prevent duplicates, etc.
