Can Extra Field be Visable to Admin Side ONLY

Default Can Extra Field be Visable to Admin Side ONLY
I have added a number of extra fields but need certain ones (e.g. COST) to be visible to only the Admin back end side and not appear on the Customer side.

They do need to appear in the Admin side for searching purposes.

Hopefully someone can help me achieve this.

Uncheck the 'show' box next to the ones you don't want to show on the customer side.
