Default cart is empty valign
I can't find what is controlling the top alignment for the "cart is empty" next to the trolley. I want to vertically align it middle.

Trolley? You mean the cart icon? If you want to vertically align the image with the text, add this to the image:

style="vertical-align: middle;"

Yeah trolley is what we call it in australia. vertical-align didn't work, but changing the rowspan from 2 to 1 did in the customer/main/minicart.tpl.
