Default email notifications
Currently the email notifications are being used from the skin1/mail/html/...tpl. What are the notification located in the skin1/mail/...tpl used for and how can those be active insted of the current location notifications being used?

Those are plain text mails, the html folder is html mail. You can turn off html mail in general settings/e-mail options
