![]() I have a lot of subcategory pages to reach a product page. The number of clicks to arrive to the product is too long for any potential customer.
I found a solution to shorten the navigation process implementing java graphic menus inside hotspots of mapped images, but... when introduced inside the subcategories.tpl (with or without {literal}{/literal}) file didn't work. The menu and graphics works fine separately if they are inside a normal test html page but as soon as it is introduced in the smarty tpls system fails to load the java program in the browser. Maybe I am doing something wrong regarding the subdirectories in which I am placing the java files or the graphics associated. Where should be located? Maybe I should place the java applet code in different tpl files? Is there any idea to help

![]() Does the JavaScript require code placed in the <head> of the page? If so, you need to put that in customer/home.tpl.

![]() Thanks Balinor,
Finally everything works fine when I moved the java files to the xcart directory and did the calls directly in the categories description box with html tags. Maybe that helps to many others
