How to get payment method 'Check' to not send out an email..

Default How to get payment method 'Check' to not send out an email..
I have have a payment method for 'Check' (personal check, to be mailed in to our office). Once a customers order is complete on our website, it emails the customer and tells them that their order has been processed.. I don't want to send them an email at all. How would I go about this?

Login to Admin mode

Go to Administration -> General Settings -> Email Notifications Options

Unselect the option now

and save.

That turns off ALL order notifications though...not sure you can turn off notification for just one payment method.

Im not talking a 'clickable' option.. moreso referring to the file (I can figure it out from there) in which I need to modify to stop email notifications for Payment Method: Check (all other payment methods, as you have stated, do need the email notification)
