I can change all the text copy of all pages simply by clicking on the name of the category. However, I can't seem to see where I would click to change the text copy of the front page from within the Admin area without going to Webmaster mode. Can this be done, and how?

The best way to learn the different templates and how they all interact is through the Webmaster Mode.

If you prefer not to use it...go to skin1/customer/home.tpl and take a look at that template. There it will list some of the included templates that can be modified.

Also, alot of the text is in the language files...might look there.
