Default Fractional Quantities

Does anyone know if there is a way of setting up non-integer quantities so that products can be sold by length e.g. 1.5 metres?

Not easily. You would be best to define a unit size per product and then sell based up on that qty.

IE 1 unit = 1/4" of material.

Thanks.

That's how I'm doing it at the moment, was just hoping there was some trick that somebody had found.

X-Cart support suggested I could change the drop-down qty to be a text field. I'll experiment after I have a site up and running and report back.
