eBay integration for X-Cart by Kosmos Central

If you're recommending 3 hours of tech support to get it up and running, then maybe should should just go ahead and charge for the one hour install and 3 hour tech support up front.

Knowing that it was going to cost me an additional $450 beyond the installation costs should have been stated up front. That helps us to budget when we know the true costs of getting it installed.

Hi Montie, I agree 100%.

I'm forwarding this to X-cart.

We're very eager to get this process ironed out. The Support for setup and troubleshooting has been the only barrier that needs to be conveyed clearer on the site when purchasing the Downloadable module.

Hi guys,

we have a client interested in this module but they asked if they will need the Ebay ID # in order to list from X-Cart? or ebay IDs will be autogenerated?
I'm pretty sure IDs will be autogenerated but want to confirm.
what do i tell them?

Hey guys. Ready to buy this mod. I just have a couple questions:

Can we use this to only upload products to ebay? We already have a tight integration with ebay for downloading orders and uploading tracking to ebay once orders have shipped.

I simply want to use this to push listings to ebay.

Inventory management is also not necessary.

Possible?

Trying to avoid screwing up the integration we already have and/or duplicate orders being created in the system.

I have ebay integration module 2.3.2.

i have it installed. i click on get new token, it sends me to ebay to login. i login and that's it. it does not redirect me back to my site.

the issue is i cannot get a callback from ebay getting "auth token is invalid".

for the module i need the following information:

eBay RuName
eBay RuName
Production Developer ID
Production Application ID
Production Certification ID
Production User Token

Can anyone help please?

For anyone who is considering this module we strongly suggest that you give it MUCH thought before going ahead with it. We initially purchased it directly through xCart and paid for the installation. After spending nearly a week going back and forth, it still did not work. They agreed to refund the module cost however still wanted us to pay for the installation, which did not work. Finally got that ironed out AFTER we filed a dispute with American Express.

So then we went directly to the source, Kosmos Central, to have it installed. On the 8th of August we ended up paying $389.6 for what was supposed to include the installation and the first month of service. About 3 weeks later, on August 26th it was finally installed and operational, somewhat. One of the issues is that when configuring the settings you cannot upload a mix of shipping types to eBay. For example, if you have 5 items that are going to have a fixed rate shipping and then 5 that are calculated then you have to manually change the settings each time and do a manual upload for each set.

Ok, now after installation you are supposed to have a 30 day subscription included. On September 1th (about 5 days after the installation) we noticed another charge on our AMEX from Kosmos Central for $49.95. Turns out that was for another month of billing. After contacting them again they informed us that they would "extend" the subscription period. Uh, ok.

Then, on September 5th, we saw ANOTHER charge from Kosmos Central for $270.00 charged to our AMEX! It was at this point that we canceled our service. Seems to me that $709.91 is a bit much to pay for a "service" which does not even come close to providing the integration that it would seem like it does.

Just our point of view here folks. The invoices from them are attached. We finally got the last one reversed by them so now they have changed it to "VOID".

Double check your settings and verify that you are set on production/sandbox server. We had that issue when we first had it installed and that was the problem. Other than that, good luck. We removed their module.
