It's certainly SEO friendly, for developers, we're using a fluid 960.gs grid/column framework throughout.

Phil, Is that the OnSale mod or the sales mod in the bundle (from QT)? Do you have any mods installed or are all the features (slider,sales,news, testimonials, etc...) a function of the template?

Neither, just saying that on balance SEO-wise you're better off with CDSEO, and I don't normally endorse any other mods, but I will in this case.

Anyhow, the template will be launched this week.

Edit: All that you see is the template itself, no addons.

Yes, I agree with CDSEO - it is a must. Was just curious whether you had just a bare bone install for the features such as the slider, sales & promotions, etc... We have lots of mods installed on our old site, would prefer less mods, more inherent features.

Sorry if this has been posted before (I've only got though 30 pages of this thread so far).

We're currently having a lot of fun with the way Smart Template transforms the look of X-Cart. One thing we did change was on the (detailed) images tab we simply added a centre alignment for the images.

Mr. G, it was a v4.4.4 bug that with socialize module enabled, after adding a product to cart, it displayed a blank screen with a 'tweet' hyperlink, which QT gave a fix for pretty quickly.

I was just providing the patch I used to fix it.

Let me first say that I am still developing the site on my local machine.

Something happened that is making me scratch my head. I was having an issue with the socialize module showing up on the products listing when I do a manufacturer search. It was making me nuts so I did a completely new install from scratch. After I installed the Smart Template and did a manufacturer search, the results page once again only showed the "Tweet" link. It showed up on all other searches.

Anyway, I run upstairs to grab my 25th cup of coffee and when I come back, all of a sudden all of the social links are showing on the products result pages. I went to the old install and when I did a manufacturer search, it showed the "Tweet" link. About 3 seconds later, all the social links suddenly appeared.

With 10billion people loading these links and images from a single source on the web, it sometimes takes a loooooooooooooooong time for these to show up. I am assuming this is the issue. Can any of these social links and icons be embedded into the actual pages instead of having to download them every time the page is accessed? I would hate for this issue to arise once the site is live.

Bill, my advice, don't use the socialize module on the products/search result pages for now.
