I added a field to the "Affiliate Program" Sign Up Page using the Admin Area User Profile Options page.

Under Billing Address I added the field "Paypal Email" so we can make payments to affiliates by Paypal. I cannot get the field to show up in the form even though the Active/Require fields are checked.

I'm at a loss to know what the problem is. Any help is appreciated.

Make sure you clear out your templates_c folder...the old form may be caching...

Thanks Padraic but I already though of that and cleared the templates_c folder. It's still not showing up on the form, as a matter of fact I tried to add additional fields and none of them show up. Yet, when I delete an xcart field such as "Last Name" it works.

Perhaps the problem is in the .tpl file that calls the form. If you have any thoughts on that?

Could be a bug in that particular version, I know .12 and .13 had numerous bugs relating to the reg form. Check the release notes and bug forum, and might want to upgrade to .14

Ya, could be a bug, however i'm set to launch a completely redesigned store, affiliate area and front end in less than a week. Never having gone through the upgrade process, I'm not comfortable that the modifications i've made will incoporate well with the upgrade process. Not to mention that if I screw up the whole thing, I just don't have the time to retrace my steps.

What I would like to know is if you can give me an idea of which files may have been modified inadvertantly which could cause such a thing to happen. I really don't think it's a bug with the release because it was working at one time. Additional fields did show on that form, but not now, which leads me to believe that somehow I screwed up with my extensive modifications.

Most of the mods were to skin templates, but I did modify a few .php files but not register.php

Ok, how about testing out adding extra fields to other sections (shipping address, personal info, etc). See if any of those stick.....

Tried that already, no added fields stick to any of the sections.

Be sure and post your findings...I'd be interested to know if it is a bug or configuration issue....
