Hi guys, I am thinking about purchase one of the x-cart skins that I really like for my new site I am developing. Can these skins be installed with ease, or do I have to purchase that other skin program in order to install it? Also, when making changes to the templates using tips and mods that I have found on the forums, will it be any different doing so with the new skin as opposed to using the default layout? Meaning will I run into any difficulties making changes that people suggest on here since my skin template will be different? Thanks everyone!

Are you buying the skins from X-cart? if so they should have installation instructions, if your buying the skins from BOOMER ect.. they should be able to help you with installation. You might run into a few difficulties having different templates but then again we all have changed our templates and they are all different, just a matter of finding the sections of code to change and changing them, you may just have to poke around in your templates to find the right areas to add/delete mods ect...always back up first before altering templates of course.

Thanks for your reply. I plan on buying the skin directly from x-cart. There is one there that I really like.
