For $40, I'm going to try it.... hopefully it will integrate into my cart. I know it's different from excheckout, but my impression was that excheckout was more-or-less required to use it. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Nope, not required. I can be installed independent of the other mods. Nice little bit of code.

PremiumPonyParts, thanks for fixing the table problem.

I just looked at your site and I found the same alt tag problem. Look at your code line 1139:
<a href="product.php?productid=1975" target="_blank">Warning: htmlspecialchars() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/premiump/public_html/Smarty-2.6.3/plugins/modifier.escape.php on line 25

Array" border="0"></a>

and your Buy Now button doesn't work, I get an JavaScript Error:
line 1160 and 1219

I have the same thing showing up as an alt tag...r eally annoying. I don't have the buy button, just the thumbnail and a product name, but the ALT tag was this screwy in all the forms ( with the buys button, with the full decsription). I wonder why... Can anyone figure it out??? I'm not good at those things at all Thanks!

What do you mean? It has everything to do with it. After the modification from the post, some people have alt tags showing up with an error message.

Anyway, i figured it out.
Probably not in the most "p-r-o" way, but it's fine now.
I just cut out the contents of the product_thumbnail.tpl right into the related_products.tpl ( in the row where the thumbnail has to go) and changed the alt tag var from {$product|escape} to ="{$product_links[cat_num].product|escape}
Seems to work perfectly... But I don't know, I'm not one of those pros...
