Order reports module for X-Cart 4 & 5

Hi guys!

Tony Sologubov here. I have heard multiple times that X-Cart needs some sort of reporting system and I even created a forum thread to understand the subject deeper.

Based on this feedback I am releasing order reports module for X-Cart 4 and X-Cart 5.

Order Reports for X-Cart 4: $149
Order Reports for X-Cart 5: $149

The module segments orders by product, category, shipping country and state, discount coupon. It also exports results into CSV.

I do understand that reporting and segmentation can be far more sophisticated than that, but I start simple and will be enhancing the module based on users feedback. That is why I will appreciate if you share your thoughts, comments or complaints about the module with me.

Sales tax report so we can pay it?

Sorry, but no. This is the module of statistics: what products and from which categories are sold well, what coupon code is the most often used and so on.

For others that may want a way to get a Sales Tax Paid report - I export orders from Tools > Import/ Export. Opened in OpenOffice Spreadsheet, sorted by tax field and state.

The issue with this, is it doesn't cover returned items (with return sales tax) so you're almost always overpaying your sales tax liability.

I totally agree....

You need Sales Tax information laid out by state and zip code that can be exported.

The problem is that I have over 30k orders and X-Cart 5 crashes and is not as robust as X-Cart 4 in regards to exporting. X-Cart 5 can't handle large exports and cannot specify exporting of certain dates. You have to export the entire database!

@hartwellj, @thebluedoorboutique, @learnteach, can you pm me or write to sales@x-cart.com with reference to Tony Sologubov and this thread about sales report?

I would want to understand how sales tax report must look like and then extend current module or write a new one, so you could easily handle taxes.

In 5.2.11 you can specify exporting of certain dates. The merchant wave will be available soon.
