Orders Import not working X-cart 5 | |||

imported my store data from x-cart 4 to x-cart5 using cart2cart, if perfectly imported my data to new store, it was suggestion from cart2cart side i should backup my data to do any change on my store, so i exported my products,categories,orders and attributes as well as a CSV files from new store as a backup, now reinstall x-cart 5 to my server and want to import my data from CSV files it imported products, categories and attribute. but failed to import ORDERS, any idea what the problem is ??? i have more than 2000 orders in my csv file getting message Data not found thanks

now i am importing from CSV file, let me explain it, 2 days ago i used export facility in x-cart 5 to export all my data, now i have all exported CSV file. yesterday reinstalled x-cart 5 for some reason it's refresh my database so now i want to import my exported CSV file but it imported products, categories and attributes but failed to import orders although orders CSV have more than 2000 records, while i import a only orders CSV , getting message "Data has not found"

Unfortunately, order import is not supported in X-Cart 5. Could you please let me know do you have a database backup before you re-installed X-Cart 5? If so, you can simply restore the database from backup and point it to new installation via editing <X-Cart 5>/etc/config.php script. Tony. |

oooops ![]() how i can get my orders Now???? i have a database backup but point to that database not working properly ![]() there was export option for orders too, but import option is not for orders........ worried... please help about this problem, other alternate solution ???

![]() Why would you need the orders imported? You can export and view them in your other database if needed.

I believe, cart2cart suggested you to make a backup to avoid such situation. Anyway, if you don't have a database backup, the only option is to migrate orders again. You can try to contact cart2cart and explain them the whole situation, probably they have some solution for similar situation and they will allow you to migrate orders for free. |
