I know what you mean on the childcare. We're having my dad watch the kids from Monday through Saturday plus our 7 year old lab and our lab puppy. He'll probably have more grey hairs after that week....

Anniversary celebration will be a day late. With Wife's blessing.

SO now I have to decide about conference pass and schedule.
I've never done IRCE. Although I've exhibited at countless trade shows, I've actually never been an attendee at one of them! A trade show for me has always been insane amounts of work building the booth, and customer interactions pre and post-show. But the idea of a conference with speakers and networking opportunities and attending as buyer of services and actually learning some things is new to me.

Anyone who's been to IRCE before, can you please share the vibe or tone of the show?
Do most attendees buy the conference passes?
Do they let you "jump tracks", or do you have to commit to JUST the Amazon track or JUST the Technology track, etc...
Is there ANY time for the exhibit hall if you want to have a relatively full conference schedule?
Just trying to determine if a full conference pass is worth the investment.

PS - FORGET about hotel rooms for June 3 if you haven't already booked. A huge medical convention leaves town on the 4th and Chicago has next to zero occupancy. I'm probably gonna take a 6am flight in on the 4th.

If anyone needs help finding a hotel room that is NOT a rack rate or even a convention rate hotel room - PM me. I used priceline and I can share my results. I am saving almost $700 (vs. booking a convention hotel room for 4 nights).

Btw, the IRCE discount code gives $200 discount based on type of conference attendance chosen. If exhibit hall only passes are chosen, the discount is slightly less.

Also, there are just 5 passes left for the X-Cart Beer meeting, so hurry up if you are considering whether or not to attend.

Yahoo! One more day of great news indeed! Yesterday Google announced plans to increase my Google Drive space to 15GB joining it with Gmail and Google Photos, today Steve confirmed he is attending the Beer meeting!

Everyone, we gained some sponsors for the event who will be announced a bit later this week. So it looks like we can increase space for the beer meeting. What I ask you to do is to inform your customers about this event. I saw Conor from HandonWeb have already done that and I am very thankful for that. I hope Steve, Carrie, Emerson, Jeremy, Alex and Mike will do an announcement, too.
