It seems that we are starting to experience what our hosting package considers high CPU usage. They said it is mostly from cdseopro.php

Has anyone experienced this or is it just time with 800+ visitors a day to upgrade our hosting again?

I haven't seen that but make sure you are using a good X-Cart-friendly host and check with the developer to see if you have the latest version.

cdseopro.php is a container file that loads all categories, static pages, manufacturers and products, so it will show as the executing file though it won't be what is using the CPU. We've load tested cdseopro.php against the default x-cart and the impact is marginal.
