Hi
I've searched the forum trying to find an answer to this with no luck.
Is it possible to place a swf in the head.tpl? I've tried it but it doesn't show up. I guess I could use an animated gif but that would limit me a lot.

put the swf file in your images dir and then call it as you would normaly but use

{$ImagesDir}/yourfile.swf

instead of

http://www.yoursite.com/xcart/images/yourfile.swf

I had actually tried that first to no avail. Until I found out what was going wrong. I have been using dreamweaver to edit my tpl's, when in design view if I make changes something seems to get whacked cause the swf (or gif) won't show up, but if I do those exact same changes through code view, every thing is fine.
...go figure.....
