We have recently migrated a site to new host and took the opportunity to upgrade to 4.2 at the same time. We are having troubles with 404 errors in various places in the admin when hitting submit to various changes. For example on one item we change the weight adn hit submit and get the 404 error "The page you are trying to access does not exist on this server." This also happens on one of the static pages i created but that is even more strange because it works if I copy/paste in part of the text for the page into the default editor, but when copy/paste more i get the 404 error. Anyone have any ideas? I tried replacing the product details and products modify tpl files with no results. Good news it it only appear to behappening on the admin side and not any issues on the public side of the site.

Double check that every single file got uploaded/transferred correctly.

Thanks for the help! I think the pages are all there. I can modify them but when i click submit to the changes on the products modify page then i get an error. I don;t understand how it can grab it first to view it, but then i can;t make a change to the product weight without getting the 404. Also, doesn't happen on every product. The other page where i was having the issue was a static page that i created within the new site so i know for sure it's there. I saw something in another post about turning off clean urls but that did not help either.

Ok, if it happens intermittently - could be server errors. You say you have a new host - are they x-cart approved? Is the server configured correctly for x-cart?

We have multiple x-cart sites running on the same server with no issue. That's why this is so baffling to me. The other new thing we are getting on this one was a 2 second re-direct delay, which we had never had on any other sites before either. The host is linux as well.

Are you sure it's not been hacked?

Just launched two days ago. Have not seen any strange activity. I'm going to post with x-cart as well and see what they say. Please let me know if anything else comes to mind.
