How can I export my sitemap to register it for Google?

Default How can I export my sitemap to register it for Google?
I am trying to register my x-cart site with Google and have found some free tools online that will allow for sitemap files to be generated. The problem is that Google wants me to register a sitemap file that is an extension of my URL. For example: stonetooling.com/xxxxx. Where can I get the proper URL for my site?

The xxx would be the name of the xml file you create - i.e. stonetooling.com/sitemap.xml

Haha very true. I was wondering if Google allowed for uploading the XML file but I'll just store it on my server and link it.
