Why not use a web editor to create the menu and then past it into skin1/customer/home.tpl where you want it?

or create new template called top_nav.tpl and add the html code in there for your nav bar then include that bellow the head.tpl file in the home.tpl files.

my horizontal navigation bar is there but when i remove the yellow squares ( i don't want the yellow squares) all the words are moving to the right side of my page. can anybody help me here is my code. please help me i'm newbie
