![]() Hello to All
I'm glad to see this is an active forum. I hope to give back as much as I have gleaned from these pages! With that, I have a design that I am wanting to implement and I am wondering if it is possible. I want to wrap a image border around the elements of the store (so that there is a top, side and bottom). I've looked through the forums, but from what I'm gathering it seems that all the information is outdated... Here's a screenshot of what I want to do (did it in Photoshop) http://216.180.100.20/moodsforum.jpg Any suggestions? Thanks,

![]() Easiest way to do that is to use three different graphics, one in the 'head', one in the footer and one as a repeating background for the main area. Best to use them as background images for a <div>. That enough for you to go on?

![]() Just about... NP with CSS. I'm thinking the top image would be in the head.tpl - but I'm trying to figure which template is for the main area? and which one for the footer - the copyright.tpl?
Thanks for the quick response.

![]() Hi Everett, I'd like to help, but you really need to keep the discussion to the forums as I am not available for private help.
To give you a little more detail, what you want to do is set a background image in your head.tpl and one in your bottom.tpl. That will take care of the top and bottom pieces. You may need to use a wrapper <div> tag around the tables that are there, as the background images don't work as effectively in a table. For the main body, if you look at customer/home.tpl, you'll notice that the main central area is basically a table. If you wrap that with a <div> tag and then create a 1px high jpg or .gif that spans the whole width of your display area, you can tile that as a background in the <div> to give you the left and right borders. Alternatively, you could create two additional table cells, one on each side of the main area, and put a tiling image in there to create those borders. Hope that helps!
