[Scrapbooker]

Hello to everyone.

My request for help is for an improvement to our x-cart based website. Our site currently sells scrapbooking and craft items, but we are struggling to get numbers to visit. It seems as though our competitors enlist other added extras to their site which makes them much more popular than ours... Galleries, project pages, blogs, forums and hints/tips pages are all prevalent and we would like to attempt to add a few of these to our site too! (I have managed to add a couple of pictures to the home page).

I am not sure if I need to add static pages and then html or call in other 3rd party programs or what. Is there mods that help with this?

I am not at all programming skilled, just a novice trying to our website to be successful! Any help would be very much appreciated as is any critisism.

How long has the site been live for ? as there isnt many pages listed on google for that under your domain.

Hi chamberinternet,
our site has been up and running for about 3 months so far. We are aware that we need to do some SEO and are currently in the process of moving to another host (current host does run apache server) so we can add the CDSEO/DFSEU mod. I actually have another thread (http://forum.x-cart.com/showthread.php?t=31296) which goes into this a bit too.
Still hoping to get some advicce on this thread too please..!

22/07/07 - Have moved hosts and now have the DFESU mod added so hopefully will now receive a better ranking from google!
