Default border around right/left links
How can I add a border (ornant) around the boxes (right/left links) on for categories, member signin, etc.

Also, where do I change the over color of these boxes (right/left links)?

Didn't I link the template editing guide to you?

The file that controls the side boxes is menu.tpl. Look at the file and see what styles it calls, then edit the styles in skin1.css
